Cough and Colds
I received an email from my good friend Benjie:

Since the Super Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines with 195-mile-an-hour winds on November 8, 2013, the most powerful tropical storm to make landfall on record, our country has been experiencing change of weather. i started to take it last night before i went to sleep....true as you said if effective, you will fall asleep, it happened to me minutes later. Since having my cough last friday, last night was my very "peaceful" and "restful" sleep. I am not coughing like a dog while in bed, i woke up early in the morning feeling good, diretso ang tulog ko (straight hours of sleep) , di na masakit ang katawan ko sa kauubo (no body aches while coughing), no head aches, no body pains.....miracle.
right now, i will continue taking it 3 times a day up to 3 to 5 days as you said. ang maganda ngayon, lumalabas na a phlegm ko without so much effort, unlike before na kelangan ipilit kung ilabas kundi hirap huminga. right now, di na makati ang lalamunan ko... (My phlegm is coming out without so much effort, unlike before i have to expectorate so hard that I can't hardly breathe. And my throat is not itchy anymore

Fish Bone stuck in Throat
This is my personal assistant Kim Rasay. While enjoying her meal of galunggong (fish) and rice, a fishbone got stuck in her throat and felt a lot of discomfort. She tried drinking lots of water but nothing happened.

Foundations of Homeopathy
FACT 1: Hippocrates ‘The Father of Medicine’ of Ancient Greece said there were two Laws of Healing: The Law of Opposites and the Law of Similars. Homeopathy utilises the Law of Similars, orthodox medicine uses the Law of Opposites, e.g. antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-convulsants, anti-hypertensives, anti-depressants, anti-psychotics.
FACT 2: Discovered by German doctor Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago homeopathic medicine is based upon sound scientific principles of the Laws of Nature - unlike medical theories which are constantly changing. Far from being ideas-based, Homeopathy is a completely evidence-based, empirical medicine - a unique concept when it was founded.
FACT 3: In Hahnemann’s first experiment, though perfectly healthy at the time, he found that by giving himself repeated doses of cinchona bark (quinine), he brought on all the symptoms of a malaria attack - fever with heat and chills.
FACT 4: Hahnemann was the first to conduct trials on medicines. He set about discovering the healing properties of plants, metals and minerals by testing them on himself and on healthy volunteers or ‘Provers’, recording all the symptoms that each substance caused. He created a ‘Provers Union’.
FACT 5: After some years of practising, Hahnemann found the tiny doses of substances he was using caused side effects. He experimented by diluting then succussing a substance (shaking through striking the phial a number of times between numerical potencies). The potentised remedy was safer to use on the sick, unwanted side effects disappeared and medicines were more effective.
FACT 6: Hahnemann tested 99 substances on himself and healthy volunteer Provers, keeping detailed accounts of his observations. He then matched the tested substances to heal symptoms of his patients using the Law of Similars.
Homeopathic Prescribing
FACT 7: Every patient is unique so homeopathic medicines are individualised. The homeopathic practitioner treats the WHOLE PERSON, believing all symptoms are interrelated and seeks to select a medicine which fits the whole state.
FACT 8: Homeopathic medicines are chosen on the basis of a patient’s mental, emotional and physical constitutional type, unlike orthodox medicines which treats in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ manner. A homeopathic medicine is chosen on the basis of totality of symptoms.
FACT 9: Just as there are fat and thin, dark and blonde, tall and thin, chilly and hot, talkative or quiet people, lazy or hurried people, etc., etc., there are homeopathic medicines to match all types.
FACT 10: Homeopathic medicine awakens and stimulates the powers of the whole body by communicating a current/pattern/frequency of energy, which acts as a catalyst to set healing into motion and jump start the body’s own inherent curative mechanisms.
FACT 11: Homeopathy assists the body to heal itself, to overcome an illness which brings the patient to a HIGHER level of health. Orthodox medicine suppresses the illness, bringing the patient to a lower level of health.
FACT 12: Outcomes of homeopathic treatment are measured by the LONG TERM curative effects and the complete eradication of the disease state.
FACT 13: Homeopathic medicines are used for inherited diseases and some trace their origins to three main genetic causes or ‘miasms’: Psora, Syphilis and Sycosis.
Homeopathic Medicines
FACT 14: Most remedies are made from a single substance but some are made of compounds, while others are mixtures of compounds. Hepar sulph and Causticum as examples of compounds.
FACT 15: During the making of a homeopathy remedy, the formative intelligence of the substance is imprinted on the alcohol/water medium via the process of succussion (vigorous shaking) between each numerical potency. Remedies are not made using dilution alone.
Remedies are made using the process of trituration, whereby the substance is reduced first to smaller than molecular size, (nano-phase) which causes electrons to be rubbed off, with a negatively charged electrromagnetic energy, measurable by piezo-electric constant. This energy is passed on to the dilute, which becomes charged. Succussion is the amplification of that energy.
FACT 16: Homeopathic medicines are made using the original substance, plus 40% alcohol as a preservative and 60% distilled water or 50/50 of each.
FACT 17: There are no molecules in any homoeopathic dilution, because the substances have been reduced to nano-phase, which is smaller than a molecule.

Foundations of Homeopathy
FACT 1: Hippocrates ‘The Father of Medicine’ of Ancient Greece said there were two Laws of Healing: The Law of Opposites and the Law of Similars. Homeopathy utilises the Law of Similars, orthodox medicine uses the Law of Opposites, e.g. antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-convulsants, anti-hypertensives, anti-depressants, anti-psychotics.
FACT 2: Discovered by German doctor Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago homeopathic medicine is based upon sound scientific principles of the Laws of Nature - unlike medical theories which are constantly changing. Far from being ideas-based, Homeopathy is a completely evidence-based, empirical medicine - a unique concept when it was founded.
FACT 3: In Hahnemann’s first experiment, though perfectly healthy at the time, he found that by giving himself repeated doses of cinchona bark (quinine), he brought on all the symptoms of a malaria attack - fever with heat and chills.
FACT 4: Hahnemann was the first to conduct trials on medicines. He set about discovering the healing properties of plants, metals and minerals by testing them on himself and on healthy volunteers or ‘Provers’, recording all the symptoms that each substance caused. He created a ‘Provers Union’.
FACT 5: After some years of practising, Hahnemann found the tiny doses of substances he was using caused side effects. He experimented by diluting then succussing a substance (shaking through striking the phial a number of times between numerical potencies). The potentised remedy was safer to use on the sick, unwanted side effects disappeared and medicines were more effective.
FACT 6: Hahnemann tested 99 substances on himself and healthy volunteer Provers, keeping detailed accounts of his observations. He then matched the tested substances to heal symptoms of his patients using the Law of Similars.
Homeopathic Prescribing
FACT 7: Every patient is unique so homeopathic medicines are individualised. The homeopathic practitioner treats the WHOLE PERSON, believing all symptoms are interrelated and seeks to select a medicine which fits the whole state.
FACT 8: Homeopathic medicines are chosen on the basis of a patient’s mental, emotional and physical constitutional type, unlike orthodox medicines which treats in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ manner. A homeopathic medicine is chosen on the basis of totality of symptoms.
FACT 9: Just as there are fat and thin, dark and blonde, tall and thin, chilly and hot, talkative or quiet people, lazy or hurried people, etc., etc., there are homeopathic medicines to match all types.
FACT 10: Homeopathic medicine awakens and stimulates the powers of the whole body by communicating a current/pattern/frequency of energy, which acts as a catalyst to set healing into motion and jump start the body’s own inherent curative mechanisms.
FACT 11: Homeopathy assists the body to heal itself, to overcome an illness which brings the patient to a HIGHER level of health. Orthodox medicine suppresses the illness, bringing the patient to a lower level of health.
FACT 12: Outcomes of homeopathic treatment are measured by the LONG TERM curative effects and the complete eradication of the disease state.
FACT 13: Homeopathic medicines are used for inherited diseases and some trace their origins to three main genetic causes or ‘miasms’: Psora, Syphilis and Sycosis.
Homeopathic Medicines
FACT 14: Most remedies are made from a single substance but some are made of compounds, while others are mixtures of compounds. Hepar sulph and Causticum as examples of compounds.
FACT 15: During the making of a homeopathy remedy, the formative intelligence of the substance is imprinted on the alcohol/water medium via the process of succussion (vigorous shaking) between each numerical potency. Remedies are not made using dilution alone.
Remedies are made using the process of trituration, whereby the substance is reduced first to smaller than molecular size, (nano-phase) which causes electrons to be rubbed off, with a negatively charged electrromagnetic energy, measurable by piezo-electric constant. This energy is passed on to the dilute, which becomes charged. Succussion is the amplification of that energy.
FACT 16: Homeopathic medicines are made using the original substance, plus 40% alcohol as a preservative and 60% distilled water or 50/50 of each.

What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a method of treatment that supports the body's own healing mechanism. It 's based on the law of similars "like cures like". A homeopathic remedy is an extremely pure, natural substance that has been diluted many times. In large quantities these subtances would cause the same symptoms the patient is trying to cure. In small, pure, diluted doses, it is not only safe and free from side effects, but it will trigger the body to heal itself.
Example: Allium cepa is a remedy that is used for watery eyes and runny nose, it is created from red onion. If you've cut open a red onion you'll notice the same symptoms. When the body creates a similar "symptom picture" to Allium cepa and you take a dose of Allium cepa, it activates the body to go about the process of stopping watery eyes and a runny nose.

Diggle our DOG
While homoeopathy has often worked for me and my children, I’ve been more impressed when it worked for our dog "Diggle."
my assistant one day called up my cellphone around 8pm "Ma'am si Diggle, nagtatae, 4 na beses na siyang nag pupu sa loob ng 1 oras. Ang pupu ay basa na may uhog pero wala naman dugo" {Ma'am, Diggle is suffering from diarrhea, he already moved bowels 4 times within an hour. It is watery and has mucous but no appearance of blood"}
I asked my assistant to give Diggle "Arsenicum Album (Ars-Alb) 200 ch" one dose every hour for 2 hours.
Guess what? his diaarhea stopped.

Chronic Loss of VOICE and HOARSENESS
my close friends would know that aside from my asthma I am suffering from CHRONIC LOSS OF VOICE and HOARSENESS. This period of my life was very challenging and difficult. ENT would tell me not to talk and rest my voice. But this is really impossible for talking is part of my job. Most of the time, i would ask my personal assistant to call for me and relay my messages because i have no voice.
The ENT doctor informed me that one reason for my loss of voice is that i have nodules/nodes in my throat. Learning this, i looked for ways to heal myself with homeopathy remedies.

What started my journey?
This website pertains to my love for Homeopathy. What started my journey into alternative medicine?
I was suffering from
ASTHMA (post-nasal drip) for almost 10 years. My asthma was triggered
when i became pregnant with my 3rd child. I have attacks when there is change of weather, cigarette smokes, staying out late at night without cover in my head or too much dusts. When I get up in the morning my nose was clogged and there was like a tennis ball size of mucous at the end my nose but cannot get out.
I went to at least three or four ENT specialists who gave me many medicines which did have effects but very temporary. I went shopping
for pulmonologists in various hospitals to help me with my case. What they gave me was maintenance medicine to suppress the symptoms of my asthma allergies/attacks.
For years, I was on daily maintenance of procaterol hydrochloride and montelukast. Steroids and antibiotics were also given to me specially if there was change of weather in the country -- because it was during this time that my attacks was worse. But even though i was in maintenance, i need to visit my doctor quarterly for check up. These kind of visits were too tedious for me. I also know that somehow through the years of taking these drugs, it has side effect on my body. For example, when i take steroids, my body has more water retention that makes me look fat. I tried acupuncture and it helped me somehow but not totally healed me. I spend P5,500 pesos as monthly maintenance to control our asthma. This amount includes the maintenance of my children.
My interest in homeopathy blossomed when I met in person Pilar Quiroz (one of my customers in pest control) who happens to travel with me at Lake Sebu. She told me about her love for alternative medicine and herbals. so I thought of studying CLASSICAL HOMEOPATHY last February 2013 with Dr. Ivan Piccio at Mandaluyong City.
As of this month - July, I am not taking any prescription drugs nor buy from drugstores. I am happy because I am not suffering from asthma attacks anymore. Right now, I am still taking homeopathy remedies to cure my previous LAYERS (illnesses)... The beauty of all this is that there are no side effects to homeopathic medicine.
